March Discussion Guide
Dear SisterHood Leader,
Thank you for always going first! Your willingness to be vulnerable and authentic sets the tone for your entire group. This month's gathering is all about celebrating the real, unfiltered stories God is writing in each of your lives. Expect lots of laughter, maybe some happy tears, and definitely deeper connections as your group shares their "God moments" and life chapters.
Remember: you don't need to be perfect - just be real. Your authentic sharing will give others permission to do the same. We're so grateful for leaders like you who create safe spaces for women to be themselves!
Opening Prayer (5 minutes) Prayer: "God, thank You for gathering us to celebrate the stories You're writing in our lives. Help us share authentically and encourage one another. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Icebreaker (10 minutes) "If your life was a movie, what genre would it be and why?"
Story Mode: ON Activity (30 minutes) Guide your group through creating their faith story timelines. Let them share in small groups of 3-4, focusing on one "God moment" from their timeline.
Discussion Time (15 minutes) Choose 2-3 of these questions based on your group's energy:
Which Bible character's story resonates most with your journey?
Where do you see God's hand in your story, even in difficult seasons?
What do you hope the next chapter with God will look like?
Closing (5 minutes) Have each person write an encouraging note to someone else in the group, focusing on something beautiful they heard in their story or a way they see God working in their life.
Closing Prayer: "God, thank You for being the author of our stories. Help us see Your goodness in every chapter. Amen."
Don't Forget!
Story Cards Take-Home: Give each member a set of blank cards to continue documenting "God moments" throughout the month. Encourage them to write down small daily instances where they see God working - no moment is too small! These could be anything from finding a perfect parking spot when running late to feeling peace during a stressful moment. Remind them that God is actively writing their story every single day!
